If you can breathe, you can do yoga! T.K.V. Desikachar Namaste Welcome! My name is Katie, I'm a mother, wife, tax expert, and viniyoga teacher since 2016. I'm also a nutrition coach and Ayurvedic wellness massage therapist. Each of these roles has brought me a wealth of experience! Thirty years ago, I practiced this type of yoga for the first time, and it truly allowed me to discover myself. Being ADHD and highly sensitive, practicing yoga brought me stability, confidence, letting go, and discernment. Finally, I became an active participant and no longer suffered the consequences of this disorder in my studies and life. This yoga has always been with me, certainly at different stages of life, to varying degrees, and... it has always been a source of support. Through personal experience, I realized how this philosophy of life could be an oasis of comfort in our fast-paced society. That's why, in 2012, I began training with Frans Moors, a direct student of T.K.V. Desikachar, himself the son of T. Krishnamacharya, the creator of Viniyoga. This four-year program offers, in addition to the postural and breathing techniques necessary for the training, the teachings of Patanjali's philosophical texts. Here are some milestones in my journey: * 500-hour Hatha Viniyoga certified by ADEPS, U.E.Y & ABEPY 2012-2016 * 85-hour Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Advanced Training with Green Yoga 2016 One discipline leading to another * 650-hour Ayurvedic Nutrition & Wellness Massage Coaching 2025 YAH Dilbeek, all to offer you a high-quality service, tailored to your needs, with professionalism and in complete safety. To further explore letting go and relaxation * In 2026, trained in sound therapy with François Braibant Aware that yoga is a tool for personal development, whatever the goal, I advocate for the practice of yoga for everyone, including people with atypical profiles. This is the very essence of Viniyoga. The practice is adapted to the practitioner's limitations. Yoga opens the doors to self-knowledge as soon as the practice is carried out with regularity, attentiveness, awareness, and kindness. For me, it's a philosophy of life that combines physical, breathing, and philosophical practice, which, like a Swiss Army knife, can help each of us find ourselves in many facets of our lives. "Practice as you are" is my motto! Open your mind and be yourself!
